On October 9th, at 10 h 20 a medicalised helicopter Super Frelon has done, at the request of CROSS Etel, the evacuation of a paraplegic passenger and his carer who were aboard the ship Independance of the Seas. SEE THE VIDEO

Delivery of the Oasis of the Seas

STX Shipyards at Turku (Filand) delivered on October 28th the Oasis of the Seas to the compagny Royal Caribbean International.

The Oasis of the Seas left Turku on Firday, October 30th to Fort Lauderdale (Florida).

The ship is going to be christened on November 30th and the inaugural cruise will take place on December 1st. The Oasis of the Seas is the biggest cruise ship of the world with a tonnage of 225282, but it's also the longest 360m and the largest 60.5m.

His sister ship, the Allure of the Seas will be delivered in 2010.
